Account Manager - Fixed Term Contract 2 years
Part time role (30 hours) week - based in Dublin, Ireland
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of your assigned client portfolio to include client retention, contract negotiation, new business implementation and business consolidation, upselling of BCD and supplier products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, staff development, business continuance and escalation of operational issues.
Your focus will be:
· Working with your multinational customer base to establish the business objectives of their travel programme
- Consulting with your customer to develop an on-line adoption plan to meet their needs and budget goals
- Managing account profitability by reviewing monthly income statements and taking action as appropriate
- Assisting your clients with negotiation of profitable vendor contracts
- Interfacing with key contacts at client sites to build multi-level relationships within their organisation
- Conducting account reviews to schedule
- Overseeing the implementation of new business, working closely with national implementation teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Conducting annual client satisfaction survey and then recommending improvements or business changes if appropriate
Your profile:
- Previous Account Management experience gained at a TMC/corporate travel sector
· Extensive knowledge of the corporate travel industry products/technology is required
- Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
- Experience in contract management
- Knowledge of corporate travel pricing and industry products
- Effective negotiation skills and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently, developing strategies and action plans for implementation of goals and objectives
- Experience assisting with new business/account implementations and upselling
- Knowledge of MS Office - word processing, spread sheets, presentations, email software required.

Your work location
This role can be home-based within the UK, but you will be required to work from our London Head Office and other BCD Travel offices and client sites whenever necessary.
