Architectural Technologist

Our client, a major award winning Architectural Practice is seeking to recruit an Architectural Technologist for their Dublin city offices. The successful candidate will be a talented detailer, a competent technical professional, and will report directly to the Managing Director.


To be considered for the role you must: 

• Hold a 3rd Level Qualification in Architectural Technology.
• Have more than 5-7 years relevant post qualification experience. 
• Have relevant experience in the preparation and development of planning, tender and construction drawings / specifications in an Architectural Practice (or similar). 
• Have thorough knowledge of Planning and Building regulations and guidelines. 
• Have design experience in large modern Commercial and Residential projects.
• Be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketch-up.
• Have a good working knowledge of REVIT
• Have strong IT skills (Microsoft suite) and a high level of computer literacy.
• Be competent at liaising with other disciplines and consultants.
• Have working knowledge of Construction contracts (GCCC, RIAI) 
• Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 
• Have excellent communications skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Ideally you will: 

• Have design experience of modern office facilities and residential
• Have design experience of modern shopping centre facilities (or similar) 
• Have 3D modelling and presentation skills
• Have interior design experience.
• Have detail design experience.
• Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. 
• Be competent engaging in multi-aspects of large project whilst ensuring all deadlines are met.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience, suitability and fit of the candidate. However, the ideal candidate can expect a salary in the order of €50,000 d.o.e.
