Our Client
A Dublin based Big 4 practice is seeking to hire a number of Audit Managers to
join their financial services division. In response to increasing business
activity they are expanding their team and have opportunities for experienced
senior level audit professionals who have managed sizeable audit assignments.
The Role: Audit Manager Financial Services Division
Working within the Financial Services Division the successful candidate will assume responsibility
for a portfolio of audit clients in the area of Banking and capital markets as
well as supporting a wide variety of advisory assignments in this area. Duties
will include:
- Responsible for planning, conducting and reviewing audits, identifying potential issues and communicating them to the team.
- Supervising a team of Seniors and Trainees , monitoring their training and development and conducting
appraisals ensuring service levels and standards are maintained. - Contributing to the development of the Audit financial services practice within the Irish market, specifically within the area of banking audit, treasury audit.
- Support our banking and treasury advisory services growth agenda.
- Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients.
Skills, Experiences & Qualifications Required
The ideal candidate will be an ACA/ ACCA with a number of years PQE within an Audit function, ideally with one year at a Manager / Assistant Manager level. They should have strong analytical and communication skills combined excellent interpersonal and people-management abilities. Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, experience of US GAAP will be a distinct advantage.
