Bim Technician M&e Dublin

Our client, long established, successful, Building Services Engineering Consultancy are looking for an experienced BIM Technician to work on various large scale M&E projects based in their design office in South Dublin.

Role:
BIM Revit Technician to join Building Services, Engineering design team. You will be assisting Engineers in drawing production, setup drawings and make ready for team to work on. You will be able to produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models. You will be competent to review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols. This role will provide the opportunity to work on various projects in Commercial / Healthcare / Educational / Industrial and Manufacturing Sectors.

To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a 3rd Level Qual. in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical.
Have at least 3 years design and layout experience of building services
Have thorough knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Engineering terminology
Have a good working knowledge of BIM Modelling for Building Services Eng.
Be proficient in AutoCAD / REVIT.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical).
Have excellent communications skills
Be competent at liaising with the multi-discipline Design Team.
Be capable of multi-tasking, co-ordinating and delivering project on time.

Ideally you will:
Have relevant experience working with a Building Services Consultancy or Building Services Contractor / Mechanical Services Contractor.
Have experience in Educational, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial projects.
Understand tendering and revision procedures.
Be familiar with BREAMM and Passive House Technology
Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
