A leading global PLC is seeking a company secretary assistant to join their legal function.
Key responsibilities of the company secretary assistant:
- Support the Company Secretary in leading the corporate secretariat function, providing corporate governance advise and secretariat support and oversee the overall day to day activities
- Prepare draft board and committee agendas for approval
- Support the Company Secretary in managing the process to review the Chairman and conduct board evaluation processes
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all regulatory filings to the CRO
- Manage the inside information process for the group including minuting Disclosure Committee meetings, creating and managing insider lists, circles of confidentiality etc.
- Draft and release regulatory stock exchange announcements
- Assist corporate development and group divisions on transactions when related to share/equity information, subsidiary advise, director information etc.
- Support the company secretary in the preparation and management of the budget for the board
- Prepare reports and presentations as requested by the team
As the company secretary assistant you will have the ICSA qualification and 2+ years' experience working in a PLC environment (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and assertively. You will have strong minute taking abilities and a good organiser with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
