What you need to know

You will work as Depository Consultant for our client, an Investment Bank company in Limerick. Our client is one of the world’s leading financial institutions. This is a great opportunity to become part of the team.

The Consultant is primarily responsible for the day to day coordination of depositary data management, oversight and due diligence requirements.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for internal partners (in particular, provide ongoing support to the wider depositary teams) in regard to the coordination, centralisation and dissemination of information.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of depositary functions and data management process.
  • Assist with the rollout, tracking and close out of the client and applicable service provider due diligence requirements, fund risk assessments and service level definitions.
  • Support the maintenance of the Sharepoint Database and responsible for certain key data management activities.
  • Provide coverage for property operations activities.
  • Ability to identify and escalate any issues to the team manager which may result in key operational, financial, regulatory and fiduciary breaches.
  • From time to time, the candidate will also be expected to assist with business and ad-hoc client projects for the management team.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong communication, problem solving, time management, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult while meeting industry best practice.
  • In-depth functional and fund knowledge including exposure to complex asset and fund structures – in particular property fund structures.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office – in particular, Sharepoint, Word and Excel.
  • Third level qualification and/or advanced in professional studies.
  • Strong experience in financial services is essential with at least 5 years’ relevant fund industry experience.
  • Experience in a depositary / trustee / compliance / audit role a distinct advantage.
  • Related industry qualification preferred.
