Engineering Technician- Dublin

• Engineering Technician with trades or diploma background required for pharmaceutical company.

• Must have 4 years experience in hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of high speed filling and packaging equipment.

• Pharmaceutical experience an advantage.

 

Reporting to an Engineering Supervisor, the primary role of the Engineering Technician is to provide technical support to the operation of Production process equipment. 

 

The technician is expected to maximise performance and efficiency by means of preventive and breakdown maintenance support, and will also be expected to take part in Continuous Improvement activities on site.

 

• The successful candidate will have a trades or diploma background along with experience in hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed filling and packaging equipment, particularly blister and sachet filling machines.  

• A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience is required and a willingness to work a shift, including a continental shift cycle.  Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry would be advantageous.
