Finance & Capital Actuary - Non-life

Star Actuarial are currently working with a leading global insurer in bringing this role to market, an exciting opportunity for a qualified non-life actuary to join the Dublin-based team where you will provide actuarial input to the Solvency II internal capital model and technical provisions.

In this key role, you will provide support on internal model actuarial risk types including reviewing results and providing briefings to management. 

You will also support the reconciliation of inputs, parameters and outputs of the Solvency II internal model runs.

In addition, you will provide actuarial input and support to Solvency II Pillar II and Pillar III compliance including the ORSA and QRTs whilst assisting with capital management. 

Advanced knowledge of and ability to use spreadsheet software essential, alongside basic knowledge of statistical and actuarial tools and techniques and the ability to apply modelling processes and techniques to facilitate risk management decisions.

An additional language would be beneficial.
