Job Requirements

We are a busy in-house design team (Creative Services) which covers a range of print and online work from marketing communications collateral, corporate literature, proposals, and advertisements.

We are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer who will join our Marketing department. We are looking for someone to cover a maternity contract to lead graphic design projects whilst working within our corporate style.

We are keen to hear from candidates who possess the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a similar environment
  • Previous experience in professional services is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint as we design within these packages
  • Must be comfortable taking projects from briefing through to completion
  • An ability to work to deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A high degree of energy, enthusiasm and adaptability
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and complete work with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to very tight deadlines

You will need to provide a CV detailing your graphic design experience. Samples of your work will be required at interview stage.

The role requires creative thinking and providing innovative and creative solutions and design support for the firm. You will work as part of a team with other designers and liaise on a regular basis with printers, photographers, account executives, web developers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualisation and design for projects from concept through to production
  • Bespoke and innovative ideas for print and digital deliverables
  • Getting buy-in for design ideas
  • Obtaining effective brief and working with clients to determine project scope
  • Development and design of PowerPoint presentations for all major KPMG client seminars/events
  • Design collateral as required, brochures; invites; flyers; conference materials; adverts, leader boards
  • Promote brand compliance within the firm
  • Print management, both internally and with third party suppliers
  • Organise and direct Photoshoots
  • Share design developments, new approaches with the team

There is, on occasion, a requirement to work outside normal working hours in response to fluctuating workflow levels and as client deadlines approach.

Team

The Marketing team comprises 18 professionals who devise and implement a variety of marketing campaigns and initiatives across the marketing mix. The firm’s marketing campaigns are designed to support and profile our professional staff, showcase expertise, thought leadership and facilitate client development opportunities. Our team focuses on a range of activities including PR and media, digital channels, events, conferences, sponsorships, research, issues led campaigns, thought leadership, design, proposal and pursuit activity. The firm also provides design services to other areas of the firm on an ad-hoc basis.
