The position of Junior Graphics Designer is an integral part of our global strategic sales solutions organisation that provides support for new business development opportunities with both new and existing customers along with strategic initiatives and marketing activities.
As the Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for assisting the senior members of the team whilst working on your own projects to help with the smooth running of the department.
Working closely with the Department’s Creative Lead and peer teams, you must have an enthusiastic and energetic approach to assisting in and delivering outstanding work, to be adaptable, creative, able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Shortlisted Candidates will be required to create a representative project based on a specific brief to demonstrate their skill set and suitability for this position.

 

 

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

  • Conceptualize, design and refine creative projects, including marketing collateral, website graphics, digital media, executive presentations, and more.
  • Support various marketing communications, product marketing and demand generation activities.
  • Be responsible for maintaining design consistency across all channels.
  • Assess and redesign outdated materials to ensure the integrity and consistency of the brand is adhered to.
  • Work as part of a team including engineers, sales, marketing, executives, etc

 

Here is some of what you’ll need…

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint & Word.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of Premier Pro and After Effects is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with basic film/video editing and photography a plus.
  • Good proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Excellent typographic skills, as well as experience designing for both digital and print. A solid knowledge of basic design techniques, including typography production and printing.
  • 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
  • A keen eye for visual detail and an aptitude for organization.
  • The capacity to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • A respect for brand standards – both following and creating them.
  • BA in graphic design or equivalent work experience.
