The Job:
As the Information Security Manager, you are the primary point of contact for international laws and regulations inquiries, audit and exam activities relative to IT, Information Security and Data Privacy control topics.
You lead International Regulatory examinations of IT, information security and compliance through interviews with government examiners, coordinate meetings with internal SMEs, and develop action plans and manage responses. You also manage and report on resolution of exam findings, including provision of evidence for closure.
Working closely with AML International Representatives, Global IT and Privacy partners, and working with Legal to develop easy to understand communication and training materials regarding GO-Tech obligations in the regulatory environment. As you will work closely with Global IT and design to document IT compliance-specific processes, you will have to demonstrate a strong understanding of the IT environment and its impact on business risk.
What you will need to succeed:
• You will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• You have experience in running and managing regulatory assessments for a company with significant regulatory requirements, preferably Financial Services
• You have experience developing and deploying remediation actions
• You have a strong understanding of technical terminology (e.g. Server environment, Data Centres and Disaster Recovery Plans, Identity and Access Management)
• You have a successful record of accomplishment of developing strategies, and designing and executing on the associated plan.
What will make you stand out:
• You are CISSP, CISA or CISM certified, optional but not mandatory
• You are an expert with a proven track record in Technical Risk management, Information Security, IT Auditing, or equivalent experience
• Ideally, you have Project Management experience, optional but not mandatory
