We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer that is ready to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment.

The designer will need to have a creative eye but also be able to achieve quick turnarounds. The chosen candidate will work closely with our Marketing & Digital teams, the primary purpose of this role will be to contribute to the production of graphics for in-store and online. They will take briefs and implement a chosen concept across various formats. They will work independently on projects but with the support of the rest of the team. The chosen candidate will need the ability to maintain consistency across all brand channels, both print & digital.

Job function includes: 

  • Digital Asset Design
  • Landing Pages
  • Web Banners
  • Social Media Headers
  • eMailer Design
  • Print Media Design (DM, POS, Print Ads, Leaflets, etc.)
  • Ad hoc work as require

Skills needed: 

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Live Integration between apps
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver
  • Photoshop skills such as: image cut-out, image retouching, multi-layer compositing, smart objects and masks

Experience required: 

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Degree level or equivalent in design or related areas
  • Excellent at using Adobe Creative Suite software, including Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop
  • Experienced with working on a Mac
  • Excellent typographic and layout skills
  • Knowledge of printing production and processes
  • Team player with excellent communication skills – ability to liaise at all levels
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, competent & able to work independently whilst prioritising workload
  • Core Graphic Design Principles: Colour, Composition, Typography, Layout, Balance, etc.
  • Digital vs Print Formats
  • Print Artwork Basics
  • Experience working on Packaging is a bonus
  • Experience working with HTML /CSS is a bonus
  • Experience working in web and mobile is a bonus
