We’re looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Legal Administrator who has an eye for detail and is process orientated. You will work closely with our Chief Financial and Commercial Director to support on a combination of property and franchise file management and a range of legal and compliance matters.

The role will also include some specific projects responsibilities, determined by business needs.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

 

Property file management

 

  • Coordinate communication and documentation with our legal advisors, property agents and planning consultants
  • Coordinate communications on legal matters with landlords/property partners
  • Ensure that all documentation is collated and maintained at head office

 

Franchise file management

 

  • Coordinate communication and documentation with our legal advisors and our franchisees
  • Ensure that all documentation is collated and maintained at head office

 

  • Litigation file management
  • Insurance file management
  • Assisting the CFO on Company secretarial matters (company filings)
  • Prepare legal documents and contracts based on in house templates
  • Providing updates to the CFO on the timing of legal issues that our advisors are working on
  • Assist and provide support to the team for meetings by organising the needed documents,
  • Research and brief
  • Draft and type correspondence
  • Co-ordinate meetings and correspondence
  • Administrative support for legal or compliance matters

 

 

Person specification: 

  • Have previous knowledge of working within a legal or property management environment
  • Have strong multi-tasking skills
  • Be exceptionally organised
  • Enjoy working on own initiative and as a team player
  • Be flexible in their approach to what tasks are assigned
  • Have strong IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
