I am currently recruiting for Logistics assistants in Limerick looking for temporary work with an immediate start

The role will include:

• Co-ordinate the inbound and outbound logistics relating to finished product, components and raw materials.
• Point of contact from shipping dept with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Preparation of all relevant documentation for ingoing & outgoing freight.
• Approval of purchase invoices for shipping Dept
• Liase with external freight partners daily
• Preparation of customs and invoicing paperwork inc Certs of Origin

Essential Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in logistics, to include all aspects of logistics operations
• Experience in handling the needs of both internal and external customer needs in a demanding environment
• Experience in customs & regulation paperwork
• Ability to perform effectively in a high pressure and fast paced environment ? Excellent customer service skills, resourceful and self-driven

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of freight partners software - inc TNT, DHL, UPS

€12.50 an hour - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
