Operational Risk Officer

My financial services client is looking to grow out their Operational Risk department by appointing a new Operational Risk Manager. The Operational Risk Manager will be directly responsible for impacting the business framework design and assist in ensuring the regular support of the policies and procedures across the group.

Key Responsibilities;

• Implementation of robust programmes for the identification of operational risk across the Bank
• Assist the FLOD with the implementation of the Operational Risk Frameworks and supporting policies and procedures
• Facilitate the development of the annual SLOD test plan and carry out controls testing.
• Continuous improvement of operational risk tools

Key Skills;

• Risk and control testing experience working directly in Operational risk
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated environment working on similar projects and assignments
• Risk reporting, preferably in an organisation with business line in multiple geography
• Ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations and demonstrate sound communication, negotiating and influencing skills
