With nearly 200 years of history, we publish some of the world's foremost authors, from Nobel prize-winners to worldwide bestsellers. In addition, we also publish the works of Agatha Christie, JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis.
Our PR and Marketing team are looking for an intern to help them for 4 weeks from Monday 4th September in our Dublin office. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in PR & Marketing as well as in books. Some flexibility with hours may be required.
Responsibilities
- Send out review mailings as required
- Write press releases as required, under supervision.
- Support Dublin team with autumn event plans. This will involve liaising with bookshops and other event partners, making travel arrangements, and carrying out other PR related duties as required by PR or Sales Directors
- Monitor timelines for social media plans for authors and progress these under direction from PR Director
- Cover desk while Marketing Exec is on holiday and offer support while HC team out of office
