RehabCare is the health and social care division of the Rehab Group. Our aim is to enhance the lives of all of our clients through the provision of high quality, flexible, person centred services. We presently provide and are developing a number of services, including Resource Centres, Residential Services, Respite Care, Supported Accommodation and Home Based Services for people with disabilities.  

Applications are invited for the following position: Programmes Facilitator

Reporting to the Programmes Supervisor, the post holder will facilitate service users in their choices, developing programmes within the context of a person centred model of service delivery. The programmes may include independent living, personal development and occupational and leisure activities, within the context of a quality of life model.

Candidates should have:

  • Health and Social Care experience, in the area of physical & sensory disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
  • A relevant qualification e.g. FETAC Level 5, is desirable.
  • Experience in the provision of personal care and client handling techniques is desirable.
  • Experience facilitating programmes and an understanding of the Person Centred Planning process
  • Excellent IT skills along with reporting skills and experience of same.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to ensure the dignity, privacy and choice of the service user at all times is also necessary.
  • Full clean driver’s licence.
