Property Finance Solicitor

Our client, a top tier firm is seeking to recruit a senior Property lawyer to support the Finance team on the Property element of Finance transactions.

The role will involve working closely with the Finance Partners and Associates and also the Property Partners. The successful candidate will also work closely with both the Property and Finance PSLs in the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic property advice around the provision of security for any members of the finance team completing such work

• Providing conveyancing support to finance teams

• Completing property due diligence as required

• Completing title investigations when needed

• Reviewing certificates of title

• Advice on large scale commercial property aspects of lending

 

Key Skills and Experience:

• Senior – 7 or 8 years PQE +

• Dealing internally with the team and reporting directly to banking clients

• Ability to make decisions – although the property team is there for support

• Knowledge of security transactions is desirable although not essential

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Project management and orgnaisation skills

• Ability to persuade and influence senior individuals

• Ability to work to deadlines, manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure

• Ability to work on own initiative
