Safety Officer

We have a requirement for a Health and officer with a Top 5 contractor based out of their Cork office . Working closely with the on Site Management team and reporting to a Regional Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for implementing 

Risk Assessments and overseeing the implementation of controls 

Maintaining the company’s Safety Statement 

Chair regular health & safety meetings on site if required

Co-ordinate health & safety activities 

Approve working methods and precautions.

Approve documentation provided by all sub-contractors 

Carry out site inspections, approve company documentation.

Ensure staff and personnel are kept up to date with training and approved courses.

Maintaining all records



Requirements

Minimum: Diploma in Health & Safety 

Minimum: 3 yrs experience

Able to communicate well at all levels

Passionate regarding health and safety

Disciplined with a keen eye for detail

Computer literate with an excellent command of computer applications
