Job Requirements
We in US Bank, have an opening in our Global Trade Settlements group. This is a fast growing, dynamic group which has numerous elements to it. The team responsibilities include Settlements of trades at our custodians and on our books and records, repairing of incoming payments, SWIFT investigation, Foreign Exchange booking, Money Market Funds and Term Desposit bookings, Funding, Reconciliation, Audit, billing, KPI’s and client reporting.
Responsible for operational support and processing for various types of securities, alternative investments and mutual funds. Facilitates asset receipts and deliveries, performs various securities operational tasks, including maintenance of the asset master file, pricing of assets, processing income entitlements, reviewing reconciliation reports, and resolving asset and cash exceptions. Ensures requests are completed timely, accurately and in compliance with standard policies. Ensures quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers. Adheres to corporate policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintains and develops automated cash and securities accounting systems, controls, and procedures.
2. Prepares and develops reports for management.

5. Responds to inquiries regarding securities issues, procedures, and policies from internal and external customers, management, internal and external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
6. Adheres to strict business line Service Level Agreements.
7. Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

- Exhibits customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Cash and Trade SWIFT is desirable
- Reconciliation experience is desirable
- Two years plus experience in Custody would be desirable
- Third level degree would be desirable
