Job Description

Pluralsight is seeking a SVP of Sales to lead sales efforts and the Pluralsight sales team in the EMEA region, along with India. Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, the ideal candidate is a self-starter, independent thinker, and can think laterally to bring Pluralsight into new market segments. We are expanding our international footprint by establishing an EMEA HQ in Dublin where key sales teams are to be built covering Commercial, SME and Enterprise segments throughout the region.  You will be responsible to understand the nuances of these markets and how to most effectively bring our product into these sectors.

You and your team will identify, qualify, negotiate and close large-scale complex deals to hit aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets. You will have a solid understanding of Enterprise learning platforms and products, as well as know the customer segments in the market. Above all else, you are passionate about our mission and a thought leader with our prospective customers in regards to how Pluralsight can close the technical skills gap for them and their businesses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a team of sales professionals both on-the-ground in Dublin and in-region throughout EMEA

  • Work with the CRO to identify segmentation and quotas for EMEA team sales professionals

  • Drive sales excellence and create with possibility to hit quarterly and annual revenue goals

  • Source, sell, co-sell, and close large deals alongside the team

  • Act as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets

  • Tackle challenges in a scrappy, entrepreneurial way

  • Be an example of Pluralsight culture and values; live them and inspire others to do the same.

  • Inspire and motivate sales team members to be able to meet tight deadlines in a start-up environment

  • Partner closely with the Head of EMEA Operations in Dublin, as well as across all key business orgs (Marketing, Product, Content, etc.)  to create results in all you do

Key qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Sales Leadership experience at a high-growth company

  • History of driving revenue to targets, penetrating new markets and building thriving sales teams

  • Experience with growing business to >150MM in revenue

  • Strong enterprise, SaaS, and PaaS technical sales experience with tangible metrics of success

  • Excellent communication skills, including multiple languages

  • Self-starter, able to work independently under tight deadlines in start-up environment

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills

  • Critical and analytical thinker as well as creative problem-solving skills

  • Strong network of talent at all levels (Sales professionals, C-Level execs)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Product development & product positioning experience

  • Strong understanding of Sales Ops workflows (CRM, collateral development, pipeline tracking, etc)
