Tax Manager – Plc (3 Years Pqe)

Our client is a dynamic, high growth PLC operating in Ireland and UK due to its continued success its Finance team is increasing and a Tax Manager is required.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager the role will be newly created and the first tax hire for the business:

• Act as initial point of contact for all tax related queries
• Ensure all tax returns are filed and all payments made on time while working closely with external tax experts and internal finance.
• Complete all VAT and indirect tax returns as required.
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation
• Assist with any tax audits/ queries from Irish/ UK Revenue.
• Work closely with finance to ensure proper accounting for all statutory reports.

The ideal candidate will be currently working as a Tax Manager in practice or an Assistant Manager (c. 2-3 years PQE) in practice or in an In- house Tax Manager role. A qualified Chartered Tax Adviser, he/ she will have a strong understanding of the application of technical advice and be coherent in their communication of same to non- tax specialists within finance. Having most likely trained in practice the candidate will be comfortable reviewing board minutes, SPAs, Financing Agreements and other legal documents.  First rate presentation and interpersonal skills expected.
