Technical Transfer Lead

My client is a leading global organisation in the healthcare industry sector based in Galway. They are seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Position

• Responsible for coordinating and supporting cross functional Technical Transfer activities across the production pipeline
• Identifying and maintaining capability to support process development, production and validation activities
• Review and write input for inclusion of process technical information in regulatory submissions
• Providing input for selection of relevant manufacturing processes covering process evaluation batches through to process performance qualification batches
• Working closely with the site operations and operational support departments teams
• Continuously monitor effectiveness of manufacturing processes and support development of process knowledge management structures on site

The Person

• Third level Degree or equivalent is essential for this role
• 3+ years’ experience pharma/ biopharma / medical device manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in compounding, filling and sterilization is a distinct advantage
• A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in continuous process validation and process capability is advantageous
