Web Designer

Description

We are looking for a self starter individual with a natural skill for designing websites, web apps and mobile screens to join our growing team and work on exciting projects. This is primarily a designer role focused on the creative aspect of designing for screens - desktop and mobile. Opportunities are available to work in different areas of a web project depending on individual skill set and learning advances, e.g. frontend coding and bringing your designs to life. 

Additional Information

This position involves a range of duties including sketching layouts, producing wireframes, developing design concepts, exporting interactive prototypes. A candidate with a coding background will also have the opportunity to bring their designs to life or work with the coding team to deliver fully functional websites.

Skills

We would like the successful applicant to have as many of the following skills as possible but we are open to meeting people who are eager to learn and can grow into this skill set quite quickly.

• Creative designer with a portfolio to demonstrate
  

• Responsive Web Design experience

• Web Application Design
  
  
• Email Newsletter Design
  
  
• Custom Graphic Design
  
  
• Grid Frameworks

• HTML5/CSS3 Background

Bonus Skills

Any of the following skills would be considered a distinct advantage:

• Experience with Sketch, Invision, Webflow, or similar

• Graphic / Icon / Logo Design

• Experience with Foundation 6

• Examples of applications/websites design and/or coded

• Perfectionist to ensure designs look beautiful when coded
